The EC50 set was designed to recreate Eric Clapton’s legendary 1950s Stratocaster tone.
Built with Alnico 5 magnets and handcrafted by the Pinheiro Pickups Custom Shop, these pickups deliver the perfect balance of clarity, warmth, and attack, maintaining that classic “quack” and full-bodied sound of a true vintage Strat.
The bridge pickup brings bright highs and crisp articulation.
The middle, reverse-wound and reverse-polarity (RWRP), cancels hum in positions 2 and 4 for clean, balanced tone.
And the neck offers a full, round, and expressive tone that lets the natural resonance of the guitar shine through.
Handmade in Brazil, the EC50 captures the magic of vintage Stratocasters with the precision and refinement of a modern Custom Shop pickup.
