The Rust Core was developed from the sonic foundation of classic thrash tones, focused on tight attack, precision and clarity under high gain.
During its development, we pursued the kind of response associated with players like Dave Mustaine — fast riffs, defined picking and strong mids — while pushing the concept further.
Using materials engineering principles, we refined magnet strength, resistance and coil structure to achieve a pickup that is more defined, more balanced and powerful enough to cover that tonal territory, without losing control or clarity.
Built with Alnico 5 magnets, it delivers a dry, articulate and highly responsive tone, ideal for fast riffing and aggressive playing.
Each pickup is handcrafted in Brazil, combining traditional craftsmanship with engineering precision for consistency and performance.
