Tele Single Coil Pickup - TC58 - Jimmy Page Inspired

This set was developed inspired by the pickups of the Dragon guitar, gifted to Jimmy Page by Jeff Beck in 1966 when he joined the Yardbirds. With this guitar, Jimmy Page recorded the legendary solo of Stairway to Heaven.

Bridge (Alnico 5): delivers the classic Twang of early Telecasters. Bright highs, deep body, and natural definition, just as a good Alnico 5 should. Responds beautifully to overdrive while keeping its vintage character. Built following the traditional recipe, with cloth wrapping and a copper-plated steel baseplate.

Neck (Alnico 5): smooth yet defined tone, with the deep body that is a hallmark of Telecasters. If perfection in sound exists, it is here. This is the pickup where you will spend most of your playing life.

Configuration Options (Neck RWRP or NWNP)

  • Neck RWRP (Reverse Wound, Reverse Polarity): when combined with the bridge pickup (middle position), the sound is hum-cancelling, but slightly thinner.

  • Neck NWNP (Normal Wound, Normal Polarity): keeps the traditional single coil behavior, with the natural hum, but provides a fuller tone in the middle position.

Note: It can be made with an extra ground wire to allow wiring flexibility. However, if you flip only the phase without also flipping polarity, the result will be the thin, characteristic “out-of-phase” sound.
