Zumbi is the result of years of development at Pinheiro Pickups. The goal was to create a truly heavy humbucker—tight, aggressive and stable in low tunings—while keeping the musicality, dynamics and organic tone of a moderate PAF. It also needed to be highly sensitive, able to reveal high harmonics and respond to every nuance of the player.
The solution came through special material selection and magnetic engineering designed to concentrate the magnetic field very close to the strings, without overstressing it.
This creates a unique behavior:
• easy harmonics, even the highest ones
• clear, defined notes under high gain
• tight low-end that doesn’t muddy in low tunings
• full chords without compression artifacts
• fast, responsive attack

Spacing options (pickup position):
52mm → recommended for Fender-style bridges, traditional tremolos, and Floyd Rose systems.
50mm → used on guitars with Gibson-style (Tune-o-Matic) bridges.
Neck pickups are always 50mm, regardless of the guitar model.
Spacing refers to the total distance from the leftmost pole to the rightmost pole — in other words, it matches the string spacing of the E-e strings at the pickup location.
